Great stay in the Amazon! Host was great at communicating before the arrival. The rooms were rustic but authentic, private and clean, each hut had it's own deck with wonderful views. Public area with hammocks was a perfect hangout spot. Dinner and lunch were great but breakfast could be improved a bit. All the staff at the lodge were lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. Absolutely recommend this place.

Its the Amazon so its rustic, lots of bugs, dirty outdoor bathroom, cold shower (not a problem but brown water at times) and tons of mosquitoes. Nothing we did not expect. They had good food but if you arrived 30 minutes after the meal window opened there would not be much left. They did not calculate food per guest well. We received apologies from employees a couple of times due to lack of food. We went for New Year but there was no celebration planned. At midnight, the place was dark and nobody was up. Again, its the Amazon in the middle of nowhere so this was expected. The sightseeing trips were great, specially the Boto encounter. We hired an English speaker guide (Bibi) but if you speak Portuguese, no need for it. I could tell that the Brazilian boat driver was quite knowledgeable as well. Make sure you understand what is included in your package so you are not surprised. Overall, it was a good stay but IMO expensive for what is include. Only go if you are the adventurer type!

Nice location. Generally the lodges need a bit more updating. ACs struggled to deal with the heat. Food was good but quantity needs to be increased. Space was also limited so for one day we needed to sit on the floor outside the dining room, which was not great. Good experience overall but with some small tweaks it can be so much better.

Wonderful stay at Toucan Lodge. Exactly as we had hoped. Great communication from the start. Smooth transfers in and out. Looked after very well by the team onsite, helpful and friendly. Really comfortable cabins.The food was good and plentiful. Pace of the activities was very good, with time between to relax and take in the beauty of the location. Our English speaking guide, Bibi, was very professional and full of knowledge. Overall a trip that we will remember forever!

We had a great time at the Lodge. The staff was very attentive and made the best caipirinha ever! Loved all the experiences but swimming with the dolphins, piranha fishing and visiting a local family were our favourites. The food is very nice and healthy with options for everybody. Great adventure for the all family! Thank you everyone!
