This place is truly like a little slice of Heaven. The house looked great in the photos, it was amazing in the flesh. We had possibly one of the best weekends since we have been in the States (4 years and counting). Kristine was extremely responsive to all our queries and answered all questions thoroughly and promptly. We were lucky enough to meet her in person as well as Kate who lives across the road and looks after the house. These ladies were so happy to include us in what was going on and share their vast wealth of information with us that we just had to ask them to stop in for a drink and dinner. The farm was nothing short of amazing. We milked the cow, fed the goats, picked wildflowers, held week old baby rabbits, swam in the fabulous new pool, and best of all, let our kids run free range around the properties without a care in the world. Truly, this was a magical experience. Thank you Kate and Kristine

The house worked out very well for our needs. Despite being an older home most of it has been remodeled and has very nice appliances and amenities (the radiant heat in the bathroom was a nice surprise!). The temperature and accommodations were quite comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. Kristine and her sister Kate were very kind to us and tried to make our stay the best it could be. I only hope it was as pleasant an experience for them as it was for us!

The house is terrific! Very inviting and comfortable in all of its particulars from the beautiful hardwood floors to the well appointed kitchen to the amazingly comfortable beds. Also the sheep, goats and their guard dog, Shep, were very sweet not to mention picturesque. And my daughter was so happy when she discovered the baby grand piano. When we got to the house we had been traveling for over a week and she hadn't had access to a piano in all that time and this one has a lovely sound. Thank you, Kristine. Your house was exactly what we needed.

Our group of six felt spoiled by the spaciousness and beauty of this home. The large, comfortable living spaces on the ground floor gave us plenty of room to hang out together, and all of the bedrooms upstairs allowed flexibility in sleeping arrangements for the group. We wish we could have stayed longer to spend more time with the goats!

We had a lovely short visit to Kristine's farm house. It was perfect for what my partner and I were looking for -- a pleasant relaxing place to meet up with friends (halfway between our house and the friends'), with whom we just wanted plenty of time and space and cook, eat, talk, and hang out. The house and furnishings are even nicer than the photos suggest, and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. The queen bed and the two twins have exceptionally firm (which I find very comfortable) memory foam mattresses and all the bedding is great. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck, watching the cardinals and other birds, and petting the goats and sheep. The two living room couches kept us comfortable and cozy for a long evening of drinks and conversation. The house is filled with large sunny (in winter) windows that provide views of the huge flat fields stretching out from beyond the tree-filled yard. Sadly, the weather kept us from getting outside much on the second day, but Kristine told us that there is an old railroad bed on the south side of the property that makes a nice walking trail, and we wish we could have tried that out.
