Kyriaki Is a fabulous host and the place is wonderful. We could live there! We were truly sad to leave. From restaurant recommendations to help getting us a confirmation from a village restaurant we wanted to go to, to completely hitting the nail on the head with her guidance about beaches etc- I really can’t recommend this place more highly. Close to everything, very comfortable, the only place we stayed with a water filtration- fabulous!

Our host was so helpful. She even gave us her trekking poles to use on our Samaria Gorge hike and she made snacks for us to pack with our picnic lunch. Everything was nearby the apartment-restaurants, shops and the waterfront. Thank you Kyriaki!

Kyriaki is not a typical Airbnb host - don't expect to find a key in a box. She waited for me to arrive from a late night flight, showed me everything, and the next day she bought me a bag of food for breakfast (enough for the whole week). I tasted her strawberry jam (that she made), and her hand-picked mountain tea. I also could borrow her yoga mat to do some yoga on the terrace. On Saturday, she took me by car to go hiking together, she made all the food for the picnic and told me tips on where to eat and go in Chania. I have great memories!

We really hit the jackpot with Kiriaki. From providing maps and tailored recommendations, to homemade Greek treats from her farm, to teaching us about her village, she was attentive and warm. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable. We used the kitchen to prepare breakfast many mornings and reheat leftovers. Much of our time at the apartment was spent out on the terrace, as we worked remotely in the afternoons. The WiFi was strong and there was plenty of space to work and lounge. All of the beautiful plants up there and views of the town were an added bonus. I hope to be back to Crete and would definitely stay at here at Kiriaki’s again next visit to Chania. I would give 6 stars if I could.
