The AmKapuziner apartments (we stayed in Apartment #4) were one of the highlights of Salzburg and made our time in the city more enjoyable. The building is located in a very unique location in the old town right at the foot of a large rocky hill called Kapuzinerberg that rises above Salzburg on the banks of the Salzach river. The whole hill is a nature preserve and has nice trails with gorgeous views of the city and specifically of Fortress Hohensalzburg to the south. It's tucked about 50 meters off one of the main thoroughfares in the old town, Linzer Gasse, which gives you excellent access to the old own (restaurants, groceries, cafes etc. are all right there) but it is very quiet at the apartment. Apart from the many church bells you will hear at all hours of the day (which is actually very enjoyable). The apartment itself was clean and tidy. Very cozy and has the weight of history about it. Very cool ceramic tile heated bench seat. Lots of character. 100% recommend.

A beautiful, spacious, comfortable flat in a convenient location. We would recommend it to anyone visiting Salzburg!
