Martine was a kind and gracious host, welcoming us warmly and setting up the property for our small child. She also kindly allowed us a later check out time when our child became unwell towards the end of the trip.

We had a very good time at Martine’s place. The location is perfect, very close to the train station, and the train only takes 13 min to Gare du Nord. The supermarket is next door, the bakery across the street and the neighbourhood nice and safe. The house is located in the courtyard so there is no noise from the street. Martine was very helpful, and kindly waited for us, while we were delayed and then parking the car. (A word of caution about the parking Foch: we didn’t check the price thinking it would not be over a certain max amount per day, but it was way above that. Our own fault of course, but if you are coming by car for a few days you may want to look for cheaper parking options in the area).
