In ten minutes you reach the village of Lunano where you find all you need as supermarket, bank, farmacy, bar, restaurants, sevice station, doctor, vet,...
Almost every day there is a weekly market in one of the villages.
There are a lot of castles to visit, either nearby like Sassocorvaro or Piandimeleto, or a little bit farer away like San Leo, Gradara or Mondavio to name only a few.
But the place of greatest interest is shurely the UNESCO world heritage town Urbino.with its Palazzo Ducale.
Every weekend durng summer and autumn takes place un other Festa or Sagra. Small or big, there is always fine food and wine and very often music for dancing.
There are a lot of different restaurants easily to reach with the specialities of the region like tagliatelle, strozzapreti and passatelli, whch are all kinds of handmade pasta, piadina and crostini (antipasti) and bistecca chianina speaking of meat. Not to forget truffels and sweet chestnuts and local wine and liquor like San Giovese di Romagna, Bianchello del Metauro and Visner and Nocino.

The nearest airport is Rimini distant 1 hour, next is Ancona about 1,5 hours and than Bologna the biggest one 2 hours away. At Ancona is also a port with ships from/to Greece. The nearest railway station is also Rimini or Pesaro.
We are 3 kilometers up a quite steep hill so a car is required.
The Adriatic sea is just an hour away. There are the well-known sand beaches of Rimini and Riccione or between Pesaro and Fano, but there iis also the natural park San Bartolo where the hills reach the water and you find panoramic villages and hidden bays.
