We had a wonderful two weeks at Casita Carmelo. Brendan and Terri are the perfect hosts and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble and they provided great recommendations on places to visit and local restaurants. The villa is beautifully designed in traditional Lanzarote style and is very well equipped and comfortable. The outside patio area is very private and spacious - ideal for long outside lunches beneath the shade of the dragon tree. Haria is an ideal location for exploring the island, particularly the north, which is beautiful and more green than the south. One key selling point is that the village and nearby coastal communities, although attracting tourists, still retain a very Spanish feel, with the majority of people being locals. So it's a great opportunity to see another culture. There are plenty of great places to explore, some fantastic restaurants and the coast road from Arrieta to Orzola is spectacular.

We've just returned from a lovely 9 days staying with Brendan and Terrie. The apartment is just beautiful, very traditional, and Terrie's attention to detail really makes it home away from home (the welcome pack of lovely biscuits, treats and a bottle of fizz was very much appreciated). Haria is a special village, with some great restaurants (we can highly recommend La Puerta Verde and the goat stew at Centro Cultural is out of this world), a lovely 'farmers market' and Arrieta a few miles away has a brilliant little supermarket and beach. All on your doorstep and away from the crowds in the south of the island. Lanzarote is a special place for us and we look forward to returning very soon. Many thanks to Brendan and Terrie for helping to make our stay so wonderful.

thanks again for everything, We had a very pleasant moment here, and are black recharged to face up the hard parisien daily. we highly recommend this house to take a Big break and enjoy all the beautiful landscapes this Island can offer 🌴🌅

We loved our week in Haria and would definitely go back. Brendan’s and Terrie made us feel incredibly welcome with their helpfulness, caring friendliness. The property was perfect and in beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend this property
