Words can’t describe the magic of this property and home. It is truly a peaceful and lovely place perfectly placed in a location that is extremely private yet close to many attractions. The house is gorgeous, with a fully stocked kitchen and beautiful art. Gloria the host is extremely attentive as well!

We had a wonderful month long stay at Casa Tucán. Gloria was quick to respond to any questions and Yadira is available to prepare excellent meals at a very reasonable price. My wife and I are birders and we were blown away by the number of birds we saw from the property. We hope to return in the future.

My plans suddenly changed, and I ended up staying in a place I hadn't originally planned to during my Costa Rica trip. Staying here for a night feels like the luckiest part of my journey. If you're planning to travel to this area and want to experience a unique residence in Costa Rica, definitely stay here. The interior is much larger, more stylish, unique, and luxurious than I had imagined. The gardens and the walking paths around the house are beautiful and impressive. The host can be contacted anytime if needed and is friendly, providing local information. Just a note, there is no air conditioning. It wasn't a problem during our winter stay, but it might be something to consider for the summer without air conditioning.

We loved our stay at Gloria's. She is very responsive and helpful. Her guidebook was such a great guide, and she helped with added suggestions as well. The area is beautiful. The walk from her property to the river was great. The extra service of food from her neighbor, Yadi, was an added bonus- delicious! Thanks for a great time!
