We really enjoyed our stay. We drove from Bintaro and it took just under three hours, directions very clear and Jihadi the housekeeper was there to meet us. The house is lovely with two double bedrooms both overlooking the huge garden and the ocean. Our children enjoyed playing football and catch out there. My husband and I enjoyed the terrace overlooking Krakatoa. Jihadi cooked for us both evenings, we gave him money for fresh fish, rice, veg and sambal. Delicious. He also took us on a hike to some local waterfalls. We drove to Carita and had a walk on the beach, but we were quite happy relaxing at the beautiful Joglo. It’s all was a welcome escape from the business of Jakarta life, and I highly recommended it to anyone for an easy and relaxing weekend away.

Hidden gem vila disekitaran Carita Anyer. Nuansa rumah jawa joglo yang luas dan langsung menghadap laut benar-benar menjadi pengalaman staycation yang nyaman, superprivate, dan memorable.

Dewi’s place was perfect! Loved the villa, the garden and the view. Really couldn’t ask for a better weekend getaway.

It's a great little place that is right on the water. We didn't explore too much, but you will need a car to get around as there is nothing that is accessible or close by walking. This is a nice retreat if you are staying a day or two in Carita. Dewi was very accommodating for our early check-in, which was easy, and very responsive. Wifi was good, too. My only issue was the mosquitoes at night, which I would recommend keeping the doors closed during the day to possibly mitigate.
