We wanted somewhere to chill out for a week, swim, lie in the sun, and indulge in Croatian life and this was the perfect spot. The terrace has spectacular sea views which you can enjoy whilst eating meals at the table, or on a sun lounger, and when you want a swim, its a 30 second walk down the steps to the sea. Perfect. If that is not enough there is a vineyard, offering wine tastings less than a 5 minute walk away. On a practical side, the supermarket is about a 12 minute walk, there are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. A bus runs to Korcula Old Town every hour and the journey takes about 10 minutes. Vedrana was a perfect host, answering our questions and offering advice; anything to make our stay more pleasant. A wonderful week in Lumbarda.

Vedrana was the most wonderful host, welcoming and so helpful. The flat was gorgeous, with splendid views of the sea and a terrific base for exploring Lumbarda. We loved this place.

The location of the apartment was perfect, with the sea just a few steps away providing good opportunities for eg. a morning or evening swim, and with several good restaurants within walking distance. The apartment has a nice and quiet outdoor area with private sunbeds and a dining area, and possibility for shade from the pine trees. We stayed without a car, and in stead we rented mountain bikes in Lumbarda for our whole stay and went biking in a beautiful landscape between vineyards; to the remote and pristine Raznjic for snorkelling and cliff jumping, and to the nice beaches Vela Przina and Bilin Zal. We also went kayaking to the small islands outside Lumbarda. Lumbarda is a nice and relaxed small town, and we highly recommend staying at Vedranas house if you go there.

We had an amazing stay and can really recommend it to everyone who is looking for accommodation on Korcula. The pictures don’t do it justice, it is even better in real life! Vedrana is the best possible host! She is lovely, very helpful and considerate of her guests’ needs. The location is perfect. Nice and peaceful and only a 10 minute walk to the small village of Lumburda. You can swim in de ocean right in front of the house or go for a beautiful stroll along the sea. Fully equipped kitchen with an amazing ocean view. The apartment was very clean and has everything you need.

Vedrana was wonderful! Very friendly and welcoming and great with the communication. The apartment space was clean and comfortable and has everything you need including some anti-mosquito equipment, which unfortunately is necessary in the evening, but thats true everywhere on the island. The apartment is on the east coast with beautiful sunrises, so if you are a morning person its great. In the afternoon the porch area is in the shade, while there is still sun on the water. On a hot summer day, i can imagine that being a nice feature!
