Sehr schöne Wohnung in einem alten Castello - ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung (keine zehn Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Bahnhof). Viele gute Empfehlungen von Guido , zum Beispiel für Restaurants. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit - vielen Dank!

The location is beautiful and Guido is a wonderful host. He gave us many tips for trips and restaurants. The castle is a beautiful setting for parties, there was almost a wedding party every day, a nice spectacle to see, but never so late that it disturbed our night's sleep. We took the Curreri bus as a transfer from the airport and back, 30 euros per person (luggage included), it stops in Vico Equense not far from 'our' castle. Vico is a good base for all excursions, the train station is a 20-minute walk from the castle. Circumvesuviana train runs from Naples to Sorrento. Through Guido we met Fabio and Louisa from That's Amore (travel agency) near the castle. With them we booked a boat trip to Capri and another day along the Amalfi coast with stops in Positano and Amalfi. They took us from the travel agency to the port in Vico Equense where our boat departed. There are also plenty of restaurants in Vico within walking distance.

Guido est un hôte très attentionné, il nous a accompagné pendant notre séjour alors que nous avons eu des soucis de santé. l'appartement est dans un décor de rêve, et est très bien situé par rapport aux attractions locales.

Beautiful, beautiful! The castle and the views are great. The apartment also has views into the sea. It is quirky, authentic and very peaceful (even with the weddings at main castle) as the place is not accessible by public. The town has all you need and very good connections to Sorrento and Amalfi coast. Would definitely recommend to friends or come back again if we come this way.

Absolutely lovely apartment with a family feel in the historic old castle above the bay. The gardens and pool are so beautiful. The location is perfect for a visit of the Amalfi coast and Pompei. The train line between Naples and Sorrento is a few minutes walk, and there are many lovely bars and restaurants nearby so you don’t need a car while you stay. The castle is a favourite for weddings, which is fabulous to see. Might be best to check when booking, as if there is such an event, the use of gardens, roof terrace and pool is restricted. In our 6 day stay there were 5 weddings, probably more than usual due to the end of Covid restrictions. The private beach was closed for repairs as it was end of season, so we didn’t manage to visit. None of this spoiled our trip, we had a lovely stay.
