Hildenhaus is situated in the green heart of Austria also known as the Steiermark region.The region is known for its good food,beer and wine. The house is close to great ski resorts and swimming lakes and many other activities through out the year. Hildenhaus was built to a tradition wooden design but with modern insulation and heating. Our cosy chalet sleeps eight people . The chalet has four bedrooms, three double rooms and one bedroom with two full size singles. Two bathrooms with a bath and two showers both have electric hair dryers . After a hard day playing in the mountains come home and relax in front of the fire watch TV and enjoy a local beer or glass of wine on our large cosy sofa. The house has a great selection of DVD's and a music dock for your digital music. If you fancy a more traditional evening in we have board games and cards to play. If you plan to eat in, the kitchen has every thing you need to prepare a fine meal. There is a lockable ski hut outside the front door. The car porch beside the house will keep the snow off your car. The fully equipped laundry room also has a boot warmer for you ski boots. During the summer relax on the large deck area ,there is outdoor table that seats eight and a BBQ. While sitting outside take in the lovely views from the house and enjoy the amazing starry night skies. Enjoy the peace and quiet. If you do not want to stay in, a little walk into Stadl (which is about 10minutes away) your will find friendly restaurants and bars all serving good food and drink. Please note shops are closed on a Sundays so remember to bring a little food with you , if you arrive late on a Saturday. There is a hofer in St Michael I’m Lungau about 30 minutes drive . The petrol station in Stadl is open till about 9 and sells milk, the bakery in the village opens on a Sunday morning. Please note we only accept bookings and payments via Airbnb!
