I always judge an accommodation on whether I would recommend to a friend or family member, so with that, I would definitely recommend. A beautiful setting and a great cabin. I would definitely return again when visiting the area. The only constructive feedback I would give future guests is to not take Nancy’s description on the driveway/road lightly… it’s no joke! You will definitely want a 4x4 truck or wish you had one…lol.

Perfect! The cabin has everything you need for a weekend getaway in the woods. #1 you definitely need a car with all wheel drive and plenty of clearance from the ground to access the cabin. The cabin is off of a dirt road that has creeks crossing through it/under it. We used a Nissan Rogue and were fine. Wifi works pretty well and had no problem loading stuff on our phones which was a nice bonus. Location is very private and feels like your in the middle of the woods. Furniture and beds were all decent. Down the road you can access Cooks State Forrest trails and hike to an overlook. Only concern would be the shower which is very small and if your a large person you might have difficulty using it. Everything else is as described in the listing, Nancy was responsive to our needs and check in was seamless and no contact which is just what we wanted. Very much appreciated the trail map left in the cabin!

If you're looking for private and secluded, this little cabin is the place for you! Nestled away in the woods, Turkey Hollow Lodge is the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. Curl up by the wood-burning fireplace for a peaceful evening and enjoy not being able to see the road or other homes. Nancy was an excellent host, and made sure that we had everything we needed (including 4-wheel drive... the driveway is a fun adventure!) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and wish our trip could have been longer. 11/10 would recommend!

We had a great time at the cabin which is situated into the woods. Everything was as described and the cabin was so comfy. We made good use of the campfire and really enjoyed the remote feel of the place. Our short stay was not nearly enough, we will be back!

House was in the middle of the woods up a long dirt road, which was great. Saw 6 deer out the window the first day and 4 more the second day. Very cozy place. Wood fireplace added to the setting. Nancy was very responsive anytime we had questions. She even asked if we needed the outdoor light on then turned it on for us because we arrived after dark. We’d stay there again!
