This was one of the cutest places I’ve ever stayed. It was clean, comfortable and quaint. The shower is great (big and great pressure). The kitchen was well stocked. The wood work throughout the whole place makes it feel new and fresh. The lighting is pretty. The beds are comfortable. Unfortunately, it rained the entire time we were there, so we did not get to enjoy the lake or the fire pit. One thing that may need to be addressed - the front door can be a little tricky - it sticks - but if you push hard enough it will open (something we discovered when we thought we’d locked ourselves out early one chilly morning while still in pjs and bare feet. After trying to figure out how to get help for ten minutes, we tried the door again in desperation and pushed really hard and it opened. Whew! Turns out it was not locked, just hard to open - thank goodness!) We hope to stay here next time we are in this neck of the woods visiting family.

Gerry and Susan’s cabin was absolutely perfect for us! There was plenty of room for three of us! Everything was clean and the kitchen was complete. The beds were very comfortable and the view was beautiful! We had a nice campfire one evening. Our hosts were available, friendly and so helpful. We definitely want to come back!!!

Gerry and Susan clearly love this cabin and the area they live in with the attention to detail and the suggestions given for places around the cabin. I throughly enjoyed my week long summer stay with the beautiful comfortable cabin (this trip sold my mother on Airbnbs!) and the hike through auger falls was such a fun place to explore. You’re not too far from bigger areas too. We went to Saratoga for the day and could have done lake George if we wanted to for the same drive. Northville is a nineteen minute drive for groceries and that’s pretty easy for me but others may want to bring everything they need. The eagle that flew overhead as we walked back from the beach was really breathtaking! It rained several times during our trip but the cabins enclosed porch made outdoors still somewhat possible. Will definitely return to this Airbnb in the future.

The place was nice a cozy. perfect size for 2 people or a family with 2 small kids. The downstairs bedroom is small and cozy but I forgot how small a full size bed is. The only downside about the place is they had 3 different WiFi connection and none of them stayed connected. So not a place if you tend to work from home. And one last thing and it not against Gerry and Susan but I don't need to interact with the host on a personal level. But these cabins are located on their property and they want to make sure who is there, understandably.

We had a great stay at Gerry & Susan’s cabin - it was warm, comfortable and had everything my two sons and I needed. Gerry was kind, helpful and quick to respond. We hope to be back soon!
