Oakchester cottage, what a treat! Our stay felt like we were stepping back in time. It was lovely to read about the history of the cottage which is fascinating and the vintage furnishings in the house made it feel extra special. The house is beautiful, the kitchen was stocked with appliances so we were able to cook our own meals and the deck area outside was lovely too. Overall, we had a lovely and peaceful stay.

We had an amazing stay at Oakchester Cottage. The location on Bruny Island is stunning and the cottage was perfect for a 2 night stay. It had everything we needed, and is spacious, tranquil and peaceful in a wonderful rural setting. The furnishings are incredible and sitting outside to eat and read allowed us to spot kangaroos and listen to the birds. Thanks for a great stay.

A beautiful, secluded hidden gem! Oakchester Cottage was everything the listing promised. We had a beautiful week birdwatching from the deck, exploring the area, eating local produce, swimming at nearby beaches and doing beautiful coastal hikes. This quaint cottage is very charming, clean and well-kept, with all the kitchen and living essentials, including internet and streaming services. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to escape to Bruny in comfort.
