We stayed four nights with Andrea and Valentina, and had a wonderful experience. It was our first visit to Tuscany and the house was a great base to exploring the area. The house is at the very top of the hill and despite being relatively close to the local village, it is a world away. The swimming pool is beautiful and a real highlight. This is closely followed by the dogs and chickens. We started the day or ended our days with a swim. Andrea and Valentina took a lot of time to recommend a number of restaurants, wineries, sights and villages to visit in the area which became highlight. We also drove to Siena and visited wineries on the way back. Florence is also very accessible and we were glad to stay away from the center. Highly recommended!

Valentina et Andréa sont des Hôtes charmant et accueillant, très discret nous avions l'impression d'avoir la piscine pour nous seuls. Le lieu et la maison sont magiques et plein de caractère, le chemin d'accès est très en pente et une partie est non recouverte mais tout à fait praticable avec une voiture normale, et le jeu en vaut la chandelle, l'atmosphère est unique. Les chiens et les chats sont très affectueux et la piscine est parfaite, très grande avec une superbe vue. Ce lieu fait partie de mes Airbnb préférés.

Dream location ! The house and garden(s) are so stunning. The pictures don’t even do them right. It’s truly a piece of paradise and Andrea en Valentina are the sweetest hosts you can imagine. Also, big magnificent pool and lots of lovely animals around. We highly recommand!

Our family enjoyed holidays in Italy for many times, but the experience at this country house was the first. We stayed for one month in September. We were completely fascinated by the place itself and especially by the hosts of this villa. The house is located at the top of the hill and is accessible by car, so it is better to rent a car right at the airport (Pisa, Bologna or Florenze) and keep it for the rest of the stay. It is possible to walk from the villa to Leccio and Leccio mall for about half an hour. There is one restaurant in Leccio, so it is advised to take a car to drive around. The first floor of the house is for rent and it includes two big bedrooms and one small hall with a sofa, which can be converted to a single bad. Comfortably, it works for 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 kids. The house also has a combined toilet and shower and a kitchen. Everything was cosy and clean, all amenities were well thought after. Everything we needed for 4 adults was in place, i.e. all towels, linens, blankets and pillows, all kitchen amenities, gas oven, fridge, etc. It was possible to cook in-house and we did that and it was possible to eat at the kitchen or outside, where there was a cosy table with a nice view and many flowers around it. The house is located in a rather remote place, so it is absolutely tranquil and relaxed. It was completely silent day and night and only the church bells could be heard during noon. There are a few panoramic views of Tuscany open up from the house. A perfect place for relaxation! The swimming pool is rather large and it uses artesian water, so no salt and no skin irritation as a result. We spent a lot of time by the pool and inside as well. It definitely is worth it. I know there are many places around without a pool, for me pool was a must and I did not regret I made this choice. I should add the Valentina was cleaning the pool every morning, so it was sparkling clean and the temperature was always perfect. It even has a special lightning at night. The territory around the house is huge, we could all get lost somewhere without knowing where everyone had been. The space was more the enough for us. The special charm for this place was given by the fact, that there are many animals living around. There are cats, dogs and even chickens. They dogs are super friendly and nice, we spent a lot of wonderful time with them. Unlike some reservations at first, we were absolutely comfortable having them around during our stay. The hosts Valentina and Andrea speak decent English, are very very caring couple, paying attention to every detail and making the stay as comfortable as possible. They also help to solve issues if there are any. Our car was evacuated from parking once due to a church holiday, which we were not aware about. Valentina and Andrea both helped us to solve the issue with police, transfer all the people back to villa and pick up the car from the impound lot. We arrived as guests, but we were leaving Valentina and Andrea as our family. It was a wonderful stay and we will miss our beloved hosts very much!
