Great place to stay. I highly recommend it, especially if you have a family. it's got so much room and everything is close by since it's at the city center.

Prachtige sfeervol huis met maar liefst 3 verdiepingen. Op de begane grond bevindt zich de keuken met gezellige eethoek en uitzicht op mooi straatje. Op de 1e verdieping mooi ingerichte woonkamer met loungebank en fauteuiltjes. Ook de badkamer bevindt zich daar op de 1e verdieping. Op de bovenste etage is de 3 persoons slaapkamer. Heerlijke bedden én kussens. Houd er wel rekening mee dat het bedlinnen niet bij de prijs is inbegrepen. Incl milieutoeslag en toeristenbelasting kwam dit op €17 p/p. (€51 totaal). Bij binnenkomst branden de lampen, het huis was op temperatuur en er branden zelfs (nep) kaarsjes. Dat voelde als een warme ontvangst. Codeslot werkte prima. Betaalbare parkeergarage en binnenstad om de hoek. Wij (3 vriendinnen) voelden ons helemaal thuis en hebben genoten!

Could not have wished for a better location! House is cozy, up-to-date and with all the comforts you may expect for the rate charged. Note that price conscious visitors will be disappointed: there are a couple of extra charges not listed in the initial price. Breakfast and consumptions (€7 for a beer) steeply priced but of exquisite quality. I recommend it either way, we had a great stay!

The house is nice and central in the City of Leeuwarden, very close to shops, restaurants, coffee places and the "Prinsentuin" which is a large park with a Canal of water flowing through it. The main bus and train station is only 10 minutes walk away. The bed is very comfortable and pillows heavenly. However, the toilet seat in downstairs toilet is loose and the stairs are considerably steep and painted very dark so it is really quiet hard to see when coming down the stairs even when the lights are on. The house is over 3 floors. If you have sight problems or have mobility problems this is not the house for you. Also, the host has items in the fridge and there are separate, inflated, charges for this. The tea bags and coffee pods are also a separate price, each, so bring your own! The host has a lot of "additional" house rules for the Airbnb with large fines if you break them and some rules are very childish (to put it kindly). These additional house rules are not stated on the Airbnb listing nor the fact that there is camera surveillance monitoring the property, which is expressly stated as not included on the Airbnb listing. The Airbnb house was fine but the hosts not so much.

Een mooi, parktsich en heel goed gelegen huis in het centrum van Leeuwarden voorzien van alle luxe. Gratis parkeren in de straat zoals vermeld op de site, klopt niet. 50m verderop wel een ondergrondse parking waar je 9,6 euro per dag betaald. Net voor aankomst bericht gekregen om nog de kosten van beddelinnen, handdoeken en toeristenbelasting te betalen. Vermits ik geen digipas bij me had op reis was dit geen evidentie om dit te betalen. Daardoor verliep de communicatie wat stroef. Uiteindelijk toch gelukt, maar ik moest nog een bewijs van betaling voorleggen voor verdere afspraken werden gemaakt. Ook heel strikte inchecktijd. Ik stuurde nog een bericht of het mogelijk ws onze bagage al te lossen omdat we voor de deur geparkeerd stonden. Lukte. niet waardoor ik nog eens extra 5,8 euro parkeren moest betalen. Pas 5 minuten voor deze tijd de code gekregen om in te checken. Ook in huis heel wat regeltjes waardoor het gevoel van Airbnb wat weg was. De volledige reservering had meer van een hotel dan het gemoedelijke Airbnb-karakter waaraan ik tot op heden gewend was. Kortom: super huis!!! Negatief: de stroeve communicatie en de strikte toepassing van allerhande regeltjes (zoals de inchecktijd).
