This place would be five stars based just on Mourad and Peaches themselves. Two amazing people. Always available to help. But it was great just getting to spend time getting to know them. I am a remote worker, spent a month at Coco Mango. The location is one of the best in Portsmouth. On a small river. Fairly quiet at night. There is a good restaurant and bar on the premises, but plenty others within walking distance. Grocery store, home goods, all within walking distance. Easy access to bus service that passes by many times throughout the day. Also a dive shop within walking distance. Internet worked great, handled streaming and video calls. The apartment has all the basics. I prefer to eat in most of the time and was able to prepare all of my meals. Coco Mango is clean, functioning, and safe. For the price a great value. In short, if my remote work travels bring me back to Portsmouth, there is no doubt that I will spend my stay at Coco Mango again, without question.

I honestly wish I stayed longer - this is a great gem in the area! Quiet, by the river, two restaurants less than a 1 min walk away, and if you want a fresh coconut there is a man on the main road who is sometimes there that can provide one for $5 EC (usually morning and noon). More restaurants can be found within a 5 min walk or in Portsmouth that is about 10-15 min walk away. Buses pass by frequently. The studio apartment was clean and did not feel cramped - lots of furniture to make yourself comfortable. Also comes with 110v so devices can be safely charged w\o an adapter - the first time in the carribeans for me. The best part was the hosts Mourad and Peaches - just absolutely amazing people to talk to and to learn from. There was no hesitation in asking me join them in events like the superbowl that was on during my stay. Meeting the hosts and chatting with them is definitely the highlight of my stay in Portsmouth area. Nothing but praise for them and the place.

Amazing little cozy place in Portsmouth where facilities and amenities are all within walking distance! Plenty of hidden little hiking trails only few minutes away. And the river just behind beckons you to feel it’s calm, soothing cold waters. What a treat!
