My stay at Stella's place was a lot more relaxing than I thought. The apartment building is in a newer area which has a dirt road leading to it and other building construction going on. This caused me concern at first, but it turned out that, while there is a bit of construction noise during the day, the area is very quiet and peaceful at night. Keep in mind, if you're visiting during the rainy season, the dirt road can get a bit muddy, which might be a problem for some people. However, I had no problem getting Uber drivers to come all the way to the end of the dirt road, I would inform them that "Mosaic Apartments" is the last building on the right at the end of the dirt road, and they always made it to me. "Mosaic Apartments" shows up on Uber and G00g-le maps so it's easy to find this way, for you and your Uber driver. The apartment is on the TOP floor and there is no elevator, so be prepared to get some exercise going up and down about 8 flights of stairs. For me, it turned out to not be so bad. The hot water was hot and both of the mini fridges keep my drinks quite cold. The place is good size with two bedroom and two full bathrooms (one private for the master bedroom). Stella was a very nice host and very flexible with my crazy travel plans. I felt grateful for her willingness to work with me. Robert met me at the place to let me in to the apartment and he was around from time to time to chat with and answer any questions I had. The neighborhood looked questionable when I first showed up and I felt concerned, but during my 5 day stay, I realized that it's not a bad area of town, just some lower income area and the people all seemed very friendly. The location is outside of Nairobi county, but just by about 1 km.

Great Host, she is Easy to communicate with. The place is exactly what you see in the photos, no lies. I hope to rent her place again

Tried to stay here but road was under construction like most of Kenya. Host kindly refunded us when she didn’t have to so I’m giving 5 stars for that. I’m sure the construction is finished now.

Stella is indeed an amazing host and she did well to make my stay in Nairobi so comfortable. She provided all the practical things I needed to make my day-to-day activities convenient. She even went the extra mile to make nanny arrangements for me. She is great at communication and quickly responded whenever I needed anything fixed around the house. It was easy to get a bolt or uber ride to the Two rivers shopping mall and other places close by. The security men were friendly and helped when I needed to carry stuff upstairs. Stella also made arrangements for an airport pick up for me and that was very helpful. It was a nice place to stay.
