Marina di Tertenia is located in a small bay and is fantastic to recover from the stress of everyday life. In the small village you find a supermarket (Nonna Isa). In low season, you find a grocery in Tertenia. Furthermore, you will find next to the supermarket, a water station, where you can refuel your plastic bottles with sparkling water or still water very cheap. In the village you will find some restaurants. Highly recommended is "Sa Mola" and delicious is the Takeaway Pizzeria „da Giorgio“ right next to the small bar "Lillino". You can also eat the pizza directly in the bar and drink a glass of wine or a craft beer from the brewery "Lara". It is the largest private brewery in Sardinia. The beer is brewed directly in Tertenia.
Fresh fruits, vegetables, Cannonau (red wine) and Vermentino (white wine), olive oil and sheep or goat cheese can be bought directly from the local farmers. It really pays off.
There are 3 sandy beaches in Marina di Tertenia (Spiaggia Foxi Manna, Spiaggia Foxi Mordegu and Spiaggia Barisoni), and there is a small boat rental at a small pier in Marina di Tertenia.

Near Jerzu, in the small village of Ulassai, there is the cave Su Marmuri (travel time about 40 minutes). It lies at about 850 meters. It is the most imposing cave in Europe. Climbing enthusiasts can skip it on the rocks of Ulassai.
An interesting excursion is also the boat trip to the bays of the Gulf of Baunei and Orosei. The ships leave in the morning from the port of Arbatax. To Arbatax by car you need about 40 minutes. It definitely pays to visit the magnificent coves of Cala Mariolu, Cala Sisine and Cala Luna.

Please bring your waste to the waste collection point (Isola Verde). Collect the waste separately: a) cartons / paper, b) glass and metal, c) plastic, d) compost garbage, e) residual waste. During the summer months, the waste collection center (Isola Verde) is open daily (except Sundays). In low season, please note the opening times.

It is strongly recommended to visit the area by car or motorbike for the absence of public transport
