Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit im Guesthouse sehr genossen. Es war toll, dass wir uns frische Orangen pflücken durften. Der Garten ist wunderschön angelegt und der Pool ist die Krönung. Die beiden süßen Hunde sind klein, brav und kommen ab und zu vorbei. Auch als Nicht-Hundemensch war das eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung. Nachts ist es ruhig (abgesehen von bellenden Hunden in der Entfernung, aber das hat man in Spanien und Portugal oft). Es ist eine paradiesische Oase zum Runterkommen und Abschalten.
We had an absolutley wonderful stay here! The place is absolutley gorgeous, the outdoor kitchen was beautiful, and the pool was great! Picking fresh fruit every morning was incredible, and tasty. The animals on the farm were so much fun. Whenever we needed anything Jürgen was so quick to help us. Could not recommend this place more! Thank you so much for letting us stay, we hope to be back soon :)
Ich habe mich bei Jürgen und Catarina sehr wohl gefühlt! Ihre Unterkunft ist ein Paradies! Morgens Orangen im Garten pflücken, frisch pressen und zum Frühstück genießen, nachmittags Flamingos mit dem Fahrrad besuchen und abends Sonnenuntergang bei einem Glas Wein auf der Dachterrasse. Ein Traum!
We had the most incredible, fulfilling, and relaxing time during our stay at Palmeira Guesthouse! Carolina and Jürgen were so friendly and accommodating. They had plenty of recommendations for beaches, day trips, restaurants & hikes. One of their restaurant recommendations, Restaurante Artefact, was fantastic, offering delicious local dishes on a charming side street and only a 5 minute drive from the property. We were fortunate to enjoy the serenity of the place, occasionally visited by their lovely dogs, Coco and Izzy. The Airbnb itself was clean, cool, and stocked with all of the essentials. I loved the terrace the most in the mornings, where I enjoyed reading and sipping coffee on the daybed. Fresh eggs from their chickens and the property full of fruit trees added to the charm. We can't wait to return and stay here again! Thank you Carolina & Jürgen!

In January 2017 we started with the renovation of this old farm with orange orchard to open our guesthouse in April 2018. Year by year we make it more beautiful :) On the land around the guesthouse, besides oranges you can also find avocado, grapes, pomegranate, figs, pear, kaki fruit, apple and lemon trees; fruit of the season is free to take for guests! Come and experience to be in the middle of the orchard in our little getaway with pool! We have three accommodations, a lovely herd of chickens, two cats, Indian runner ducks and little Coco & Izzy; our farm doggies. We welcome you to Palmeira Guesthouse! Jurgen and Carolina
