Nice cottage in a nice location, stayed here with my family for a long weekend and climbing sca fell pike which was about 45 mins drive away. There are shops and pubs nearby, walking routes nearby. There is a fire but we couldn’t get it to stay lit as no fire lighters, the kitchen is well equipped, beds were comfy, water pressure was good, over all a good stay ☺️

We had a wonderful time in Karen’s beautiful and spacious cottage. We have family in the village so the location was perfect for us but would highly recommend as accessible to the Lake District but away from the “tourist trap” areas. Beautiful walks straight out the front door. Loved the layout, the super fitted kitchen and appliances. Sitting room with wood burner was cosy and thoughtful host had left games as well as a large TV with Netflix. Very relaxed time - definitely going back!
