Wish they this accomodation had given me clear instructions to get to their accommodation in a sedan. I specifically asked if a sedan would get there easily but no one took the time to tell us that there would be two routes, one which would require a 4x4 and another which was easy for a sedan. Our car took a big hit! Communication is key for me when travelling. Accomodation was charming but not clean. The food was good but quite pricey for burgers and pizza. Our host was friendly but didn’t seem to mind that the gps coordinates that are on the booking take you to a completely different accomodation who then was able to send us in the right direction. Wouldn’t stay here again.

On arrival the reception staff said there was no record of payment of my booking even though i paid through Airbnb, and had to pay onsite again inorder to check in. however after loading payment proof on my phone the transaction was reversed for the second payment. On my booking it listed the room to have wifi , the wifi for the room was not working and i spoke to the reception staff, they acknowledged the fact it wasnt working but did not rectify the situation or attempt to as they seemed uninterested.

The accommodation was great, very neat and clean. We loved the hobbit themed cottage. The staff was really helpful with everything we asked for, including directions to local places of attraction. They were also thoughtful and made sure we had enough wood for the fireplace and our braai area all weekend.
