Sara's mum Helen was my host for my stay & is an absolute angel! She was super understanding to the fact that I was going to check in late & when I did I was greated by her & her lovely dog Coco! She then helped me with my bags to my room, that had snacks which I could help myself to on the table. The room was lovely, it was so cozy & definitely such a nice place to come back to after a long day of travelling around! The toilet was massive just for myself which I absolutely loved! Helen is a speedy replier & is always there when you need her. I was cold so she kindly offered me a heated blanket which she went out of her way to get! Also it was my mistake to not have a universal plug so she lent me one as well! Helen's place is located in Hawthorn which is superbly close by to the city, & if youd like to take public transportation there are many options to choose from with the closest station being 7/10 mins away! I loved everything about my stay & Id love to come back some day too :)🩷

Nice, cozy & clean place to stay. The host is very responsive & helpful. The tram stop just 50m from the property.

The place was simply a delight to stay in, and I'm so grateful that Helen shared her beautiful home with me. Love the little resident dog Coco who was such a dearie! The room was accurate per the pictures, and provided me with very restful sleep after my day trainings. There is a nice big park right outside the house (great if you like dogs), and the place is a nestled in a tranquil neighborhood yet close (within walking distance) to the train station and tram stop. Helen is a lovely host who is very welcoming, and was so kind to offer me chocolate cake, in addition to the coffee and tea facilities provided during my stay. I enjoyed my chats with her and would hope to keep in contact with her.

Nice and cozy room! Had everything I needed and Helen was really friendly and welcoming. Located just 10 mins from the metro station making it very convenient! Enjoyed my 1 week stay here and would definitely stay here again if I'm back in Melbourne! :)

Helen provided a perfect place for me to stay in Melbourne for Australian Grand Prix weekend - I needed somewhere comfortable to sleep each night after big days at the track, and her place was perfect!
