WoWoW! This place is incredible, remote and in the jungle but access to town is not too far!! Both houses were amazing, the lagoon was amazing, it’s very private and there’s no one around. You have it to yourselves. The chef made great food. No complaints from any of us!!

We had a great time in Santuario. The lagoon is spectacular. The palapa on the water with the hammock, aerial yoga silk and the slack line are clear highlights, as well as Daniel the chef’s cooking. The place is clean and Luis is extremely responsive and addressed all our needs while we were there. Swimming and doing kayak in the lagoon was so fun. The cenotes nearby are amazing. That being said, we do think that it is important to know that the property is very rustic. The wifi is poor. Upon arrival we noticed that there were very few areas where we could all lounge in the shade. Luis said he could buy comfortable chairs in a few days. We ended up buying chairs ourselves and he reimbursed us. It worked out in the end but it was an inconvenience. As is to be expected in a lagoon in the middle of the jungle, there are a lot of mosquitoes and bugs, so bring repellent. The tree houses were cool but not clean or habitable (at least not prepared for any of us to stay there). There were no clothelines In the sun and it took a long time for our clothes to dry because of the humidity. Overall, we had a nice time, the staff is amazing, the lagoon is beautiful, but considered the place to be overpriced for what it is.
