This is a real find! The house itself is super for a hide away get away. Good size if you want to 'stay in' for the day. Three great traditional pub's in easy walking distance (the Boot perhaps the best of the three). Ideal for walkers, although we didn't use it for this this time, and ideal if you want to use it for a base for Harry Potter, Windsor or Central London. Can't wait to come back.

We love this listing and it is a second time renting it. So it’s safe to say we love it. This little cottage is exactly as listed and in a safe area. Christine was great to communicate with and cottage was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We even enjoyed a visit from Beau the dog.

My stay at Christine’s was totally wonderful. Went there for a work retreat and it was the perfect place. Christine was a super responsive and helpful host, felt very looked after and some nice touches of a welcome basket made me feel right at home. The place was really clean and comfortable. It’s near some beautiful walks and the wood fire was a total treat. Will definitely try and stay again!

Christine and mark where absolute stars from booking to check out and where really welcoming and attentive while still respecting our privacy. Myself and my girlfriend fell in love with the lodge from the moment we saw it, it’s exactly what we’d hoped for and more.. the way the lodge is situated on the property makes it feel quite private without being isolated and the inside is just perfect, the rooms are way bigger than we expected but it still felt cozy and intimate, the kitchen is equipped with everything you could need and spotlessly clean, which can be said for the rest of the lodge too, The bed was very comfy and the linen was clean and fresh which coupled with the peaceful surroundings made for a very good nights sleep. The main living are of the lodge is spacious and well furnished with two comfortable sofas, a good sized TV and lots of those oh so important little personal touches that really make the place feel like a home away from home and quite special

Both Christine and Mark are so welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The lodge is perfect; the surroundings are idyllic and peaceful; we had the best stay!
