Our stay at Amelia and Joa's was an unforgettable experience for my family. We were looking to explore Geres Natural Park and the numerous churches in the area, and this location served as the perfect base. The drives back and forth absolutely worth it. Amelia and Joa are wonderful hosts who make you feel like part of their family. Their warmth and kindness added a special touch to our stay. The property is a haven of peace and quiet, offering a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The house is nestled in the heart of northern Portugal, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and tranquil landscapes. It's well-maintained, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed for a family stay. What stood out to us was the blend of serene surroundings with easy access to local attractions. It's a rare find that allows you to enjoy relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend! I will be back to the area again and will stay with them for sure!

Wir waren mit unserer Hündin eine Woche bei Amélia und Joa. Der Empfang war, trotz dass wir abends spät anreisten und es regnete, herzlich. Wir haben gemeinsam eine kurze Führung durch die Wohnung bekommen und fanden von Anfang an den Lifestyle der beiden sehr inspirierend, da sie viel selbst anpflanzen, aufbauen und viel Zeit für ihre Kinder und die Natur rundherum investieren. Der Garten ist sehr groß, wunderschön, wild und doch gepflegt. Aus unseren Augen ein Paradies für Kinder und Tiere. Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben und entspricht den Bildern. Vielleicht ist zu erwähnen, dass es sich um eine Wohnung handelt, die unterhalb der der Gastgeber liegt. Sie war ruhig, rustikal, etwas dunkel, aber gemütlich und wir durften Waschmaschine etc. mit verwenden. Wenn wir ein Anliegen hatten, waren Joa und Amélie sofort zur Stelle und auch ein Plausch mit Kaffee in ihrer Wohnung war sehr herzerwärmend. Für Ruhesuchende und Wanderlustige absolut eine Empfehlung!

The flat is very lovely & surrounded by beautiful nature. Amelia is an outstandingly friendly & kind person. She reserved us a table at a local family run restaurant where we had an amazing dinner. We wished we could have stayed longer, this is one to return to one day.
