Absolutely amazing place right on the river! My husband and son had the most amazing father son Father’s Day weekend and felt very at home loved the area. The host was absolutely amazing to get a hold of very easy to communicate and with great suggestions will definitely want to come back and look at the cabins as there’s more than one place to stay on their property. Thanks Again for everything

A spectular experience in beautiful surroundings. Bernadette is a welcoming, thoughtful host, who could not have done more! Everything about this property is worth the money and more. We would have loved to stay longer. I highly recommend it. This was the best Airbnb stay I've had! Thank you!

We had a lovely stay in B.C., and our only regret was that we only had one night at Bernadette’s place—we wanted a second! Bernadette is a top notch host: kind, thoughtful, met us on arrival (with sweet Ruby as her four-legged co-hostess). She offered us several good tips in advance and her communication was excellent. The apartment is cozy and adorable; the setting top notch. Really, the photos can’t do it justice. I would be thrilled to come back for a long weekend of reading and relaxing. Bernadette has two lodging options on the property, and both seem excellent (and private). Driving into town was easy, under 10 minutes, and we brought our Tim Hortons back to enjoy by the river (we don’t have that at home). This was the perfect stop after we drove half of the Pacific Marine Route (via Port Renfrew, starting at Victoria) before we headed up to Tofino the next AM, to get a good feel for a bunch of the island locales. Cannot recommend Bernadette’s enough!

The property in Lake Cowichan has absolutely everything you need to have an amazing stay. Bernadette and Mark are lovely people who I’m very grateful we got to meet on our holiday. They go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need for the stay. The guest suite and amenities was perfect for 2 people and the surroundings were beautiful. We can’t wait to return one day!
