Nicola is an exceptionnal hote, friendly, very kind and really dedicated to hosting. The view is really fantastic from every where in the property. Nicola and his father put all their know how and love to built and maintain this exceptionnal place where it is fantastic to stay, with a very large family like we did, or with friends. You can boothly be alone and quite and be together. All the property is smartly architectured for that, with taste and love. The garden is exceptionnal and far from what should be normal for hosting.

We went there for a one week long family holiday - grandparents couple, their two sons with wives and kids, 10 people in total, aged from 6 to 75 :) For us the place was perfect, each family had their own apartment and there was a great common space building with a long table for having meals together and spend long evenings drinking, playing cards and talking. Beautiful property, thoughtfully designed, with lots of nice vegetation and a fantastic view on the Poppi castle.

A lovely villa in a beautiful, tranquil setting. Very private and with every amenity you could want while just a short walk from the pretty village of Poppi. The individual apartments are ideal for multiple family groups and the communal area was perfect for when we wanted to gather for meals, evening socialising, etc. Host Nicola was extremely helpful and accommodating, even opening the pool up for us each day despite it being late in the year. We were rewarded with some unseasonably warm weather and the children were able to make full use of it on at least a couple of the days. Poppi is very hilly but the old town is charming with some great bars and restaurants. A climb to the castle is extremely rewarding, with a lot to see, great views from the tower and some fascinating history – both early and more recent. A car is really a necessity although the train ride from Poppi to Arezzo is a cheap and pleasant alternative if you want to save on driving.

Where to start! The location is stunning, surrounded by forested Tuscan hills, with a beautiful view of Poppi castle in the distance. Most importantly, the villa itself: amazing!!! Not to mention very functional. There is a main house split into three completely private and separate apartments. Each apartment has multiple bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen. Every apartment is well appointed and was very clean. We had 3 families staying for a week and we all felt like we had enough privacy, while being close to each other. The main house also has an office and wine cellar with local wines available for purchase! There is a separate building that contains a large combined dining area and tv/sitting area. This building also has two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a larger kitchen. It is right next to the beautiful pool area, which is well secured with gates. The grounds are stunningly manicured and have very nice amenities. A truly perfect week was had by kids & adults alike. Thank you!!!

Nicola’s place is absolutely beautiful. We spent a week there with 10 people and two little ones to celebrate our marriage and it couldn’t have been more perfect for us. The place is so much bigger than I thought, and there were plenty of beautiful spaces for us all to hang out together. Nicola was also brilliant and very responsive! As a big group we had many questions and requests, and Nicola was so accommodating both before and during our stay. We were also gifted with a bottle of wine and Prosecco on arrival - which was such a nice surprise. We loved how close we were to Poppi town, although it was hard to leave the villa some days because it was just so relaxing! Would definitely recommend this place for vacations, and weddings :)
