Omunity is a remarkable and unique place. In fact, it's actually more of an experience than just accommodation. We were deeply touched by Zanzan & his family & how we were welcomed & treated with so much love & respect. We learned much about traditional Bali life, ate an exquisite array of freshly cooked, organic, vegetarian food, thoroughly enjoyed our day excursion to the waterfalls & our delightful Balinese picnic lunch delivered to us in the rice fields. The fresh spring water pool was beautifully refreshing & we loved doing morning yoga on the yoga deck. A highlight was making offerings baskets with Zanzan's beautiful mother. We love her! The three children are intelligent, speak good English & an absolute pleasure to talk with over meals together. The eldest, Rama, took us on a village walk & was also our very competent driver to our next accommodation. We even became quite fond of the little white chicken that wandered around the lush gardens. Perfect place for peace & quiet.

It very interesting place, you kinda feel like you are in the jungle living in peace with trees and animals around. Host is very responsible and the food they cook is amazing. I felt like as part of their community dinning together.

You have to meet Putu, Zanzan and the family - they are so welcoming and could not do enough for us. Omunity is a very special place which is clearly Zanzan's vision and Putu's graft. Putu makes the most incredible vegetarian Indonesian food you will ever try and was so helpful when we lost a wallet and needed to rent a motorbike. Zanzan offers an alternative way of thinking and living which is fascinating to experience. They offer tours and guides to local attractions such as waterfalls and the morning market and you will try new things such as fresh nectar from palms. The only thing that doesn't match is the photos - they must have been taken when it first opened as the main covered area no longer has a roof. The area could do with a bit of tlc and maybe offer a tour of the compound explaining where we eat, where/if we can purchase other drinks and massages as this wasn't made clear. Overall we had a wonderful time up in Sawan exploring the jungle and communing with the family.

Putu und Zanzan sind sehr nette und herzliche Gastgeber, die sich sehr um einen guten Aufenthalt bemühen. Ich war während des Aufenthalts leider krank, sodass ich die Angebote wie Delfine schauen, Tour zu den Wasserfällen oder den Reisterrassen oder eine Massage nicht wahrnehmen konnte. Die Gastgeber waren sehr einfühlsam und bemüht, dass es mir schnell wieder besser geht. Hier im Norden bekommt man einen Eindruck vom „wahren Bali“, es ist noch nicht so touristisch. Die Dorfbewohner sind sehr freundlich und offen. Man isst gemeinsam mit der Familie, sodass man auch viel über deren Kultur erfahren kann.
