Incredibly beautiful property with a helpful and informative caretaker. It is an older property and so there are always a few things that are not perfect but on the whole we had a lovely stay. The Wifi was not working whilst we were there and the wifi set up is not good enough for a property this size. This is fine if you're looking to get away from it all, but if you plan on regularly checking work emails - you'll need regular trips into town for good data reception. Chefs will find the oven infuriating as only one side works and the temperature settings were not accurate but the stovetop works fine. The TV has UK freeview channels and a DVD player. There's no Apple TV or similar for streaming and honestly not sure the Wifi could handle it anyway. If you want to watch media during your stay - make sure to have plenty of downloaded content. The markets in nearby Isseagac were the highlight of the trip. Only on Sundays - get there early as parking is tricky.

Absolutely amazing place! Really beautiful house, rooms, grounds and pool. Location is ideal for trips to nearby medieval towns in a car. Really well stocked with amenities (excellent coffee machines, fridges, lots of towels etc). The guardian Ian is always on hand to help with anything and very friendly. We had the best stay here and would highly recommend!

A fabulous stay at a superb home. We took a party of 10 and it was great. Such a peaceful location and plenty of space for everyone. The pool area is fantastic and it was a real treat to eat there in the warm evenings. Would recommend highly….

We had a wonderful stay at Saint Surin. A brilliant place to get together with family and friends. Stephen was very prompt with getting back to me responding to my queries. There were a few things that didnt work, like one of the ovens and one of the bathroom taps in one of the upstairs ensuites but all in all we had a fantastic stay and came away with some wonderful memories. Finally, a big thank you to Ian, the Chateau's resident Guardian who was very helpful. A gem of a chap!

Superb! We were a large party, including a couple of families overstaying for a week. The chateau is very large insuring that everyone had their own space but with great gatherings spaces to meet all together. The park is stunning, we had most drinks/meals under large trees in the park (we had a bit of rain once and also enjoyed a dinner in the medieval dining room!) Ian, the guardian, is living in the house next door and is a gem. He made felt welcome and was always there to help while being discreet! Thanks for the warm welcome and looking forward to coming back again.
