Giannis’s home is an excellent place to stay on Sifnos to enjoy a wonderful vacation. The house is updated and extremely comfortable, kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals when you are not enjoying the excellent cuisine of Sifnos. The bedrooms are restful and beds are very comfortable, living room is spacious and relaxing. Loved the shower and spacious bathroom. The patio was a great place to relax at night and watch the moonrise. Giannis has thought of everything you might need to make it a very comfortable stay and was a very thoughtful and helpful host. This is a great house if you are a family or a couple, and centrally located so you can explore all of Sifnos and come home to a relaxing and comfortable home. You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay at Komis Mansion.

We spent six wonderful days in Giannis' house. It was very well located, allowing for easy access to the whole island, beautifully removated, spacious (the wonderful bathroom in particular!) and extremely clean. Appliances and linen were of excellent quality. I will make a particular reference to how *quiet* everything inside the house was - for example, this house had the most noise-proof cupboards we have ever used! Our host, Giannis, was also wonderful. From the beginning he was responsive, friendly and accommodating. He gave us tips about the island, explained everything about the house and the area in detail, and was discrete, but always available when we needed him. We are thankful for his hospitaity and, of course, we highly recommend the house!

Host Giannis Komis did everything possible and thought of everything to make our stay amenable. Nothing was overlooked and the accommodation is wonderfully suitable and well equipped, adding appreciably to the comfort and attractiveness of the house itself and its surrounds. A couple, we had another couple to stay for a week as our guests, and two other friends individually for several days at different times and yet never felt crowded or inconvenienced; the house is cosy for two or four. In a quiet and authentic village, far enough away from the tourist hub-bub, while being centrally located and well-situated for hiking and getting around the Island (we used only buses and our feet, with the occasional taxi), it has everything to attract the discerning traveller. Tradition combined with modernity, such as in the slate and wooden-beamed ceilings, and modern, practical kitchen and bathroom. The tastefully decorated and comfortable living and dining areas or sheltered terrace ajoining them are alternate havens when it's windy, not breezy enough, too hot or too cool outside (you can never take your pick in the Islands). Overall, there's an impression of discrete charm provided by its general situation: the view from the terrace to the distant hills and sea, the garden of fruit trees and thyme providing open space around the house and adding privacy, the little village store and ympathetic couple who run it, greetings and exchanges with the locals, the ringing bells and almost daily braying of the donkey, the almost mysterious separation and connection between public and private spaces in the white village and its pathways, houses and churchs, interlocking and homogenus, yet each quirky or individual. We loved our time on Siphnos: not by a long chalk our first stay on the Island, but by far the longest and probably the most fulfilling, no doubt thanks in no small part to this house and the thoughtfulness of its owner and his wife.

Very cosy house where we spent some good time. Location is great close to Apollonia and the all the sweet spots by car. The house is very comfortable and clean with recent furniture. No pain points at all. Last but not least Giannis and Penny are adorable. Thanks again
