the room, the sofa, the bathroom and the bathtub were much better than the photos show. a beautiful house, with well-divided spaces, very comfortable, there was always hot water and a perfect temperature inside all the rooms beyond the cold outside. the neighborhood very safe and quiet

We had a fantastic time at Akos's place. The sauna and bath were lovely after a long day of walking round in the cold. Akos was not there to greet us but was available electronically and replied very quickly. We found the local area to be OK but the people living and working there were often quite rude and unhelpful, particularly in the 24/7 shop just down the road. I would suggest learning some Hungarian to get by and plan everything well beforehand or you might get a bit stuck! Szipler Kert ruin bar was a highlight for us, as was Buda Castle, houses of Parliament, szechenyi thermal baths, and the river tour. We tried to go to the House of Terror but the queues were ridiculous! Food was amazing. I would recommend trying the street food next to Szimpler Kert ruin bar, and Robinsons Restaurant near the thermal baths. There's also lots of delivery options available if you go online to Wolt. We went for new years and loved the firework tradition here. There's no main displays but people just let them off everywhere. Head down to the river next to the apartment and you can see hundreds of displays going off. Public transport is very easy. There's tram and bus stops near by. Get a 24 hour ticket and just hop on and off all over the city. Overall, we had an amazing time and can't wait to come back!

We had a great time in Akos apartment, everything was fine and as explained. Communication was also very helpful and the location ist practical. We totally recommend it
