Thanks for a lovely and peaceful stay. We sat on the deck listening to the surrounding sounds for hours and when it became chillier we crept inside and sat in front of the fire. Perfect relaxing weekend… would love to come back soon.

Words can’t adequately describe how much we loved this place, and will definitely be back asap. Tip to future travelers: make sure you commit to doing nothing else but enjoying this property and switching off, and make sure you book a minimum of 3+ nights here to really take it in. The lack of technology and going back to basics was absolutely what we needed. The privacy and the views were incomparable, and we loved reading through the flip book and associated photo album to see the journey of the property. Rosemary and Russell have put a lot of time and effort into culminating not just a property, but an experience, and it shows. The homemade fudge was absolutely to die for as well and topped off feeling like you’re at home. Thank you so so much for your hospitality, we won’t ever forget this trip!

An hour in the cottage feels like several, time slows down with such a comfortable and quiet location. Very traditional, we loved the views, the verandah, the fireplace and every window held a beautiful aspect. The furnishings and restoration are lovely. Highly recommend.

Great little cottage in the mountains/ no wifi/ is that a plus or a minus- yo to you I guess- after the initial shock 😱 we loved it. Great fireplace.
