I was so happy with my stay at Jose’s! It’s a great neighbourhood with great restaurants, bars, coffee shops and artisan stores on the area. Jose was a great host, extremely accommodating and responsive. I’d recommend at stay at Jose’s.

Simply put, it’s what AirBnB is meant to be. Sure, the location is perfect, the bed comfortable and everything super clean, but it’s the little details that make it something truly special. This is a welcoming home away from home for travellers - not someone trying to make a quick buck on an extra room. From the moment you arrive, Jose or Adam make you feel welcome and comfortable in the space. The kitchen has legit everything you could need (including spices, blender, filtered water, coffee machine and complementary fruit). The kitchen also happens to be where I had daily interesting, inspiring and hilarious conversations with Adam (who lives upstairs in a separate space) and the two other guests (who have now become friends). Of course you don’t have to be social if you don’t want, but that was a highlight for me. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. If your gut is saying yes, listen to it, you’ll be glad you did 🙏

So homely and in the perfect location. Jose and Adam were excellent at communicating and couldn’t have been more helpful. Definitely stay here if you can manage to book a room! Very comfortable, stylish and fun house to stay.

I’m Tammie’s daughter Rachel and I stayed in Jose’s home for 5 nights while traveling solo in Mexico City. Not only was the home beautiful and in a great location near everything, I felt welcome the moment I walked through the door. Since Jose was away during my stay Adam who also lives long term in the house helped me with everything I needed. I had so many great conversations with Adam during my stay and kind interactions with everyone else who was in the home during my stay. As someone traveling solo these small gestures can make an experience that has the potential to feel lonely at times so much better. I’m super grateful for my time here and can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in Mexico City.

This place is a real hidden gem in Mexico City, specifically in the neighborhood of Roma Norte. Consuelo was super attentive and kind. Felt safe and comfortable during my entire stay - highly recommend!
