Great apartment, exactly as described. It was a great jumping off point for several day trips. Close to Inverness and Fort Williams and even managed a full day in Skye.

We had a wonderful stay here. The Abbey building and grounds are simply beautiful and the setting is right on the water. Fort Augustus is less than 5min walk away with lovely shops , restaurants and boat trips etc. We had dinner at the Boathouse that is situated within the grounds on the water. The food was amazing!! The accommodation was clean with all amenities needed including a washing machine and dishwasher. Kitchen was well equipped and our children enjoyed playing board games avail. We did lots of lovely trips from here and it was easy to get around the area. We saw some highland cows nearby! We have 4 kids and they enjoyed the swimming pool on-site and the outside playground. There is a sauna and steam room at the pool that was lovely to have. We would highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful and relaxing stay at Loch Ness.

We would highly recommend the accommodation & Fort Augustus! Such a beautiful part of the world! The apartment was spacious & spotless and it felt like a home from home. The amenities were fabulous & the pool, sauna etc were ver relaxing. We’ll definitely be back!

Overall the stay was good except that the bed in the master bedroom was not comfortable for a week's stay. We loved the location which is very close to the famous Loch Ness and neighbouring tourist attractions are easily accessible by 45-60 minutes car drive. We were out of electricity for more than 40 hours due to the storm Gerrit that hit the highlands during our stay but Gary was reasonable to arrange the compensation for the inconvenience caused.
