I love to Surf, travel and immerse in the local cultures. As a professional big wave surfer (you can look my insta RAFAELTAPIALEWIN ) and a wine exporter I travel a lot in different corners of the world. This heavy traveling I try to apply in my properties, the best wave in Chile Punta de Lobos where I have my primary house is fully decorated with some rare things from Bali, which is a great mix. I usually rent my house to finance my surf travels, at the back there is a independent loft which is amazing for couples or solo surfers or explorers. This was done from the ground up and overlooks the whole wave of Punta de Lobos. Similar concept is in Nazare the biggest wave in the world and super charming town with awesome food in Portugal, I was very fortunate to purchase a great apartment overlooking the biggest waves in the world with a big terrace to enjoy in the summer months. Our apartment in Santiago is really charming is also decorated with Bali furniture, very warm in winter and cool in Summer, located in what I consider the best neighborhood on Santiago, although I dont spend much time there any more so I rent it regularly. Apart from traveling and surfing I love cooking, learning new ideas from foreign lands and live a very healthy life trying to conect with nature and the inner peave within thogh regular yoga practice to balance the heavy commintments in waves and business! I have Guacolda a charming country lady from Chile who helps me oversee everything when I am abroad, she has stories that can make some movies, always ready to help in anything. My other great partner is Dina, a Nazare local, one of the best cooks I have meet, she is always ready for a coffee or talk story, she always have the latest in the best establishments for food, not necessarily the fanciest ones, the best ones! p.s: When in Nazare don't forget to check the Forte San Mighel de Arcanjo, where we have the international big wave surfers hall of fame, take a picture with my board and my profile love when guests send to me!
