This space is heavenly and Simsbury is such an interesting, historic place. We loved all the special touches of the apartment and the thoughtful layout. We were there for less than 24 hours, but it was still a lot of fun and restful and gorgeous!

What a beautiful and relaxing stay! My husband and I live a few towns over and we have two small kiddos, so we like to each take a night away to just relax and have some alone time. This place is THE PERFECT place to do that. Loved being able to walk and grab food or coffee and take in the lovely local scenery! Thanks for such a revitalizing weekend.

Everything about this airbnb was amazing! Courtney was responsive, gave clear instructions, and made my wedding day and night comfortable and amazing. Everything is conveniently located. Clean, cozy, and charming stay and location.

The two-night package at the Ensign House combined with my 69th birthday party soiree at Metro Bis Restaurant Saturday night, culminated with an Easter Brunch on my birthday, was a weekend shin dig and extravaganza to remember forever. Everything, yes, all of it, was perfect and began in the idyllic dreamland of the Ensign House. A sweet little welcoming sign with my name on it, melted me. Precious and sweet. The room itself was large enough to accommodate two people, comfortable, yet small enough to feel like a love nest. Ample treats including ice cream and oatmeal and Perrier were surprises found in an art deco kitchen. Although half-bottles of wine would have have been nice (only kidding), all room accoutrements were lovely and unique. Bright sunshine shone through creative draperies, brick walls in the room gave the historic setting its due and made me curious about its storied architecture. I will tell everyone about this diamond spot and its superior hostess, Courtney. BRAVA!

One of our favorite Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at! It’s in a great location, they did a great job of thoughtfully decorating it. Has all essentials you’d need and even surprised us with things we didn’t expect it to have.
