Gloria is a fantastic host. We needed last minute/same day accommodations and reached out to see if we could stay. Our previous accommodation fell through and we were in a time of need! A few hours later we were able to check in. We are so incredibly thankful that we found a place to stay, but the space was way beyond our expectations. It is seriously gorgeous. Gloria went above and beyond to meet our needs, even helping us have a shirt ironed as we prepared for a friend’s wedding. This is the perfect place to stay. It is a gorgeous villa, full of privacy and stylish amenities. From the terrace you have a view of Mt. Etna. Every morning and evening we would take a look and see what “she” was doing. The shower is fantastic- amazing water pressure. I cannot say enough lovely words to describe what a wonderful place to stay it is. This will be our go to place when we travel to the area. However, once word gets around how great it is it may be hard for us to find vacancy! A plus, five stars, on a scale of one to ten it is a twelve!!!

Villa bellissima, panorama stupendo. La casa è nuovissima, grande e luminosa. La cucina è molto comoda, ci sono due bagni (uno al piano terra e uno al primo piano, nella zona notte). Molto belle anche le due camere da letto. Dal terrazzino del primo piano c'è una fantastica vista dell'Etna. Davanti alla casa c'è un ampio spazio da usare come parcheggio. Spazio anche dietro (vicino alla cisterna c'è un angolo molto carino da usare per cene e momenti di relax). La zona è molto tranquilla, non rumorosa. In una ventina di minuti si raggiunge facilmente il Rifugio Sapienza, in mezz'ora il centro di Catania. Con qualche minuto di guida si arriva alla bellissima Pineta dei Monti Rossi (per running e trekking). Supermercati vicinissimi alla villa. Gloria è stata un host eccezionale. Precisa, gentile, accogliente e sempre pronta a consigliare luoghi naturali da visitare e ristoranti/pub per le uscite serali. Torneremo sicuramente!

Villa nuovissima e meravigliosa, immersa nel verde, con tutti i comfort. Ottimo punto di partenza per le escursioni sull'Etna e anche vicina al centro di Nicolosi. Il parcheggio privato ovviamente è molto utile. Vista del vulcano spettacolare da giardino e terrazza, cenare la sera nella tranquillità dello spazio all'esterno ci mancherà. Host super disponibile, gentile e sempre pronto a darci consigli. Torneremo!

Gloria‘s house is accurately presented in the pictures. Spotlessly clean, new, modern, and sparsely decorated. A grocery store is reachable by foot along a main road (basic store: 5min, nicer: 10min) and there are tons of restaurants in town (7-20 minutes by foot, nicer walk). The area is rather quiet for Sicily and usually pleasantly cool even in August, so it's not a problem that there’s only air conditioning in one of the bedrooms (although sleeping with the windows open might be difficult because there are a lot of neighboring guard dogs barking even at night). Only the window screens in the master bedroom, kitchen, and living room are 100% tight, so we tried to keep the other windows closed. Me and my partner enjoyed our stay in Gloria‘s house a lot. There's a partially-covered patio right outside from the kitchen (with a small table large enough for 3 people). Fresh mountain air and nice Etna views. Very close for Etna excursions, and Nicolosi and neighboring towns have many amenities. The house has a small wall around the grounds and an electric gate so you can park every day without a second thought. About an hour to the vineyards on the north slope of Etna (Randazzo). There are three large shopping malls within a 20 minutes drive. Central Catania is a slightly rough 45 minute drive away; it takes a while on congested roads to get to the highway (which takes you to Taormina in the north, Siracusa in the south, and Enna/Palermo to the west). Do like the locals and get out of hot Catania in the summer and enjoy the mountain climate. In the summer there's a really nice relaxed party atmosphere on the slopes of Etna with diners staying out late to eat and drink and talk outside. Gloria was always there for us when we had questions or inquiries. Check-in and check-out went perfectly. The only spot of bother that might occur is the kitchen equipment, which isn't of great quality and rather limited. Gloria did try to help us out and got a couple more things that we requested, but still cheap stuff. However, the kitchen is very large (note: no dishwasher). But who doesn’t intend on doing a lot of cooking won’t be bothered and will have a wonderful stay in Gloria‘s beautiful home!
