Met 5 other guests in my two short days here, a solidly built 3 story house with 7 rooms(only 4 have bath). Everyone seemed polite and friendly. Other than that the amount of stress coming from the hosts were inexplicable awful, either in person or through exchanged of messages. This place is ideal for those who staying up late, don't mind noise, making noise, or seeing other guest's dirty underwear( if he/she left it in the shared bath). Air conditioning is strong in the room, did not use living room tv. Woke by chair noise in the middle of the night, took my phone as a light to the upstairs bathroom, almost locked myself out with a jammed door knob. Freaked out and texted the hosts and were told this place is for digital normad (or analog whatever it is)who works in different time zone. Were told their house is not suitable for those sleep in Malaysia standard time, for example from 10pm to 6am. Totally befuddled by their demeanor and initiated report to airbnb. Ruined my vacation.

ホストは在住してはいないですが、ほぼ毎日お掃除をしたり、様子を見に来てくれて、ホームステイしている感じです！ 夜、他の滞在者たちとともに、旅やグルメの話をするのがとても楽しかったです！ みんなで珍しい果物を食べたのはいい思い出です。 カップルがホストしているのですが、二人ともおすすめをいろいろ教えてくれます。 もっと早い段階でおすすめのお店を聞いておくんだったと思ったくらい、おいしいお店を知っています。 そして、以前に日本人も多く滞在していたようで、日本語の本があります。 またペナンに来たら、絶対ここに滞在したいです！

Had a great time with Alex and Jo. The place is shared with many travelers and everyone was cool. Walkable distance to a small beach and plenty of food market around.

The house is in Tanjung Bungah, is easy to find and away from the busy Georgetown, about 20 minutes ride. With grab and the bus, the traffic is not so bad, but remember to avoid off-work time. I am happy about the living environment, very clean and cozy. Alex and Jo are really nice people and give me many suggestions about travel. They have a cute cat, sharing space to cook and chatting with other roommates, wash machine to wash clothes, make the place more like home.
