Tayford Cottage is an excellent place to stay. The cottage and grounds are incredibly well maintained, and it’s lovely to sit and take in the peaceful atmosphere. The location is barely two minutes from the Waipu shops, and the directions provided make it simple to locate. Nigel was informative and friendly, and respectful of my privacy while staying in the cottage. Will definitely look to return if I’m ever in the region again.

Tayford Cottage is a real treat to stay in. My wife and I had the exclusive use of the entire cottage. It has large living and dining areas, large rooms and wardrobe space, and it is set in amongst a beautiful tropical garden. Horses graze in one of the paddocks and the grounds are very well looked after. Everything that one would need for a short or long stay is in the cottage and our host was very responsive if there was anything we couldn't find. Our host lives in the house behind the cottage and we admired how hard he worked on the property but although we saw him working every day, he was very careful to leave us to our own devices. It is just down the road from the main shops and restaurants and the area has lots of lovely beaches to explore and enjoy. It was definitely one of the best get aways that we have had in recent years.

This home is in a very convenient spot for Waipu village and Waipu Cove. It was immaculate very clean and tidy and has all the kitchen items you would require to complete your stay. The bed linen was fresh and beautifully laundered. Just so sorry we could only spend two nights.
