Had a great time! Vinnie was so helpful from the minute we booked until the minute we left. The home is extremely spacious with great space for the dog to run and explore. More than enough beds for us to feel right at home. The kitchen amenities are a highlight. Only true negative was a good amount of bugs in some of the rooms (ladybugs and flies) but that is to be somewhat expected in a house this size in the country. Close drive to the grocery store and our destination, the Goodspeed Opera House. Would definitely stay here again.

Historic home that’s beautifully redone. Great dog-friendly place for our quick 1 night visit. Easy to get to the Essex train and just minutes away from a store and Dunks. The house is private and easy to find. Have to mention the comfortable queen bed!

We had a great time at Vinnie’s. The farmhouse was charming, relaxing and clean. We felt right at home. Very spacious interior and private property made for a real country farm feel. We would definitely recommend the farmhouse to others visiting Haddam! Vinnie was also great and very responsive and helpful.
