Generally terrible experience. Location was fantastic, price was good (but makes more sense now). Reception and check in was quite a joke, not worth going through Air BNB really as it was a normal hotel reception and the standard process. Upon arriving at our room, smelled terribly of burnt plastic, the main bedroom reeked of cigarette smoke and mould and there was some badly plastered up damage to the wall. We reported the smell issue to reception, said we'd go out for a wander for a few hours while they remedied the issue. They took our number and said they'd call once it was sorted. After 2.5 hours of wandering we headed back to the hotel to get ready for an event. Different staff on the desk who had no idea about the issue. After 30 odd minutes of panic'd rush and after starting a call with Airbnb support extra rooms where found in another area of the hotel that where acceptable. All and all, generally terrible experience backed up by predominantly useless staff (Except for the poor fella who got left without any heads up about the issue and who did his best to get us sorted).

Excellent apartment, very clean & tidy, well presented. Public tpt at the front door, Flagstaff Gardens across the road - sensational views from the apartment. Will definitely stay there again, highly recommend.

absolutely loved the room, really impressed with the cafe food at the entrance of the building, and friendly staff. would absolutely love to return again next time I stay in Melbourne!
