Stayed the one night with Luis and his family… Firstly, on the day of check in Luis kindly offered to pick us up from the port at 9am which meant that we practically had 2 full days on the island. On arrival, Luis then took us out on his boat with other guests to do local activities and also stopped off at his brother’s restaurant for lunch. Time to chill in the afternoon before dinner in the evening hosted by his wonderful daughter Brie. On our second day, we went out on the boat again fishing and then Luis let us relax in the room/balcony for the majority of the day until he took us back to the port at around 3pm. I would highly recommend staying with Luis and his family. We had a great time.

Excellent place to stay at within the Uros Community on Luis’ private floating Island. Also, the Family is just Lovely and the meals that you can have there for an extra cost are just excellent. Luis is very responsive which is great to organise pickup etc, especially if you don’t have internet, it can easily be done at a cafe in Puno. Thank you !

We absolutely loved our stay with El Presidente Luis and his gorgeous family! They were so kind and welcoming. I especially loved the tour he offers with your stay. Learning about the daily life in Uros was so impressive. Staying with Luis and his family made the stay perfect. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The food was all delicious. The hospitality was unmatched. Thank you!
