We stayed at Robert's place for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. The place was as described, and my husband and I along with our teenage son found it very comfortable and peaceful for our stay. The internet might be a bit weak if you're planning on streaming lots of things, but we were looking to disconnect from technology for a bit so that was wonderful for us (and I will say the internet was good enough for email and playing music from Spotify). We had talked to Robert before to confirm a couple of things, and he was very responsive and flexible in the check-in time. The area is wonderful, lots of activities including a couple of kayak/canoe rental place, a really nice park by the pier in Oscoda is only 2 blocks away, a couple of delicious ice cream places, and a short drive to Lumberman's Monument (and various trails), as well as Alpena (and Dinosaur Gardens and the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Museum!). Would definitely stay there again!

this cabin is a great place to stay and very close to the lake! it is a beautiful area and there is a lot to do in the area. the host, Robert, is very friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed. he checked in on us every few days to make sure we had clean towels and clean sheets if we needed them. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in Oscoda!

Cute cottage with short stroll to Lake Huron, fun decorations. Also, the perch dinner at Tait’s was really good. Oscoda is great!

The Crows Nest did not disappoint! The beds were comfortable, the place was clean, and the location was great! We would definitely stay there again, and Robert was a wonderful host!!

So happy that we found this little cabin, it was perfect for us, and we would highly recommend it. We loved how close it was to the beach and that we could walk to town.
