My husband and I needed a quite place to just rest and unwind from our hectic lives. We got just that, and more. Afternoon naps on the hammock or rocking on porch swing, nightly soak in the hot tub, listening to the birds and frogs. Just lovely!
My 11-year-old daughter and I stayed at Melody's log cabin for little girl's weekend and it was perfect! The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, and we had a lovely starlit hot tub experience. Everything was squeaky clean! We're already talking about having our next girl's weekend trip here next year!

This is a sweet haven of a place to have a few days of quiet. The house is solid, clean, updated, and has many cozy touches like basket full of blankets that make it comfortable. Watching the moon while sitting the in the hot tub was sublime as was watching the sunset on the porch. Friendly family made us feel at home. We'll look forward to retreating here again.
My college crew is spread out between Illinois and Ohio so we met here for a girls weekend and to host a surprise baby shower! The house we stayed at was perfect. We had plenty of room, enjoyed the hot tub, took a stroll around the property, and had a nice relaxing weekend. There were outdoor games available for us on the porch and even some kids toys inside for the toddler who joined us! 10/10 recommend!

*We love the airbnb platform and the way it allows us to reach those looking for a vacation getaway, however we do not support or agree with any/or all of the causes that Airbnb supports. I'm a homeschool mom of 5 kids who loves *quiet *coffee *books *summer *family time. My husband and I recently moved to this home after doing extensive renovations and are so happy to be in this private location. My husband, Greg, works for his dad pumping concrete and I stay home full time and run school/home things. We are continuing on the tradition of hosting at this location as my grandparents built and created this haven and hosted bed and breakfast guests here for years before they became too elderly to keep up with it. We feel honored to be able to walk in their steps and give our guests the privilege of enjoying the peace this place provides. We intend to make your stay quiet and peaceful and relaxing. A hiatus from the crazy, busy, hectic lives we usually find ourselves in.
