自我介绍

I am a travel, sports and lifestyle photographer with a background in landscape architecture and urban planning. I grew up in Southern California and enjoy active sports like running, hiking, and standup paddleboarding. I also enjoy the arts, music, theater, literature, cinema and good food and wine. I've traveled to over 40 countries so far and all seven continents. I particularly like to travel in Latin America and speak Spanish. My favorite travel destinations have been Spain, Peru, Bhutan, Cuba, Italy, Mexico and Argentina. Five things I can't live without are my family, friends, camera, suitcase and passport. I like classic literature and historical thriller novels. I'm a big Lord of the Rings fan as well as love big epic films like Braveheart and Gladiator. I love all types of music, especially Latin rock. My favorite foods are Italian, Japanese and Mexican. As a guest I am courteous, respectful and sociable. I am responsible and not a party animal and prefer staying in places that are cozy and quiet. I generally like to stay in economical places with my own private room and bath. Most of the time I am not even in my room as I'm out photographing early in the morning and even evenings. My life motto is definitely carpe diem--seize the day. I travel as often as I can to see the world as I never know how much time I'll be given. I saw my father pass away when he was only 57 from cancer and he had so much still to live and places he wanted to go. Now I travel for work mostly but do take time to enjoy my experiences as well.
