This was an amazing getaway! With the river flowing by and how amazing the cabin was, it was so relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. The dog loved it too!
Carmen and Robert were such welcoming and supportive hosts! The river cabin was absolutely gorgeous and the surrounding landscape was very peaceful to be in. I’ll definitely find my way back in my future.
This was our second trip in as many years to Carmen and Robert’s quiet, peaceful cabin. Set alongside the Wheaton River, we enjoyed watching the sun come up over the mountains to start our day. We hiked alongside the river in the afternoon, returning to the wood fired sauna that Robert had prepared for us. About 40 mins from Whitehorse, the Wheaton River cabin has quickly become our favourite place to escape to. Thank you Carmen & Robert for welcoming us back to your beautiful property! Trevor & Kelsey
This is a beautiful place to spend time- enjoying the many trails and skiing, taking in the breathtaking mountains and listening to the river. The cabin is impeccably clean and well kept. Thank you Carmen and Robert for sharing this gem.

自我介绍
Carmen and Robert hail from beautiful Thun in Switzerland, nested within the Swiss alps. They left everything behind and moved to the Yukon more than fifteen years ago. Together with their 3 kids they have been living off the land and pretty much off the grid ever since: their home at Wheaton River is solar powered, they use water directly from the stream and organic veggies grow in their backyard (at least as long as there is no snow). Part of the family are also one donkey and one horse (they are friends), seven dogs, two cats and many chickens! At their Wheaton River Wilderness retreat they accommodate guests year-round. And they worked hard to make it what it is today: a place to relax, to have fun, to be outside, and to explore. Both Carmen and Robert are professional tour guides.
