We had the most amazing stay at Poudel Homestay. The small village on the edge of a jungle, with its monestaries, gardens and caves is a peaceful and special place. What really made the stay special however, was the host family. They were ever-generous with their hospitality, time and conversation. It was an honor to be their guest and I would stay with them again in a heartbeat.

I had a wonderful stay with Asha and her family. They are very warm, kind and want their guests feel like home. We had lunch and the dinner together and it was really nice to spend the time with the family. Asha and her sister can speak english. The father can understand english and although the mother cannot speak or understand english we find a way to communicate. I had a fresh pomelo from theier garden, which was really nice. The surrounding is so nice. There are some monasterys very close. you can also go for several hikes. I didn't because I prefered to relax. But I can image that these hikes are beautiful as I could See the nice surrounding. It was a pleasure to be their guest. I recommend this homestay if you really want experience nepal in this close way. Thousands thanks.

The place is just great. The family is so welcoming, making me feel like a family member. So warm and accepting. The valley is incredibly peaceful, filled with monasteries and important caves. I highly recommend staying here.

Aasha and her family are absolutely wonderful, warm, friendly and accommodating. My 13 year old son and I had such a lovely time staying here in such beautiful surroundings. Aasha was so kind in showing us many of the local sites and with sharing her knowledge and experiences. We had many great conversations! We feel very grateful to have stayed with Aasha and her family. I had read the reviews before staying, and can say that I agree with all of them and that I will definitely come back when I come back to Nepal!

A stay that we will remember for the best. I had read on the airbnb website the beautiful comments former guests had written on their stay. I must say that I totally agree. The whole family is so nice and friendly, they welcome you as friends. They want people to feel good. The girls made us visit the temple near the house, then we sat in the garden and chatted and had fun. Then we shared a delicious nepali dinner prepared by the mother. We spent a good night in the room which is comfortable and super clean. We feel lucky and are very grateful to have been welcomed by this beautiful family. Thank you !
