Honestly, this was my favorite place we've stayed at in Aruba. There was a shared kitchen, which helps me and my husband meet new people and friends. It was absolutely beautiful and I would stay again!!
Kortom, Mammaloe's is de place to be
I enjoyed my stay at Mammaloes Bed and Breakfast and would stay here again but wish I knew more going in. I would consider this “Glamping”. There were just a lot of little things that made my stay a little inconvenient. The WiFi was spotty. Sometimes it worked in my room sometimes it didn’t. Or I’d have to be in the common area where all the creatures are at night. It was really buggy, regret not bringing bug spray! But I saw snakes, frogs, fruit bats, lizards all right outside my door. Your bathroom is outside so it’s not super private. I wish there was a way to keep the door closed from the inside. Also my room was right next to where the dogs were kept so I awoke to a lot of barking some nights. Pros: it was still better then a resort as it was more private, centrally located to be able to explore the entire island (you HAVE to rent a car!) there was ac which is a must and there is a small pool to take a dip in after spending the day at the beach!
Overall, we enjoyed our time at this home, but we did have concerns about the circuitry (electricity safety) - read more below. Our only concern about this home is its safety because the circuitry is outside in the open. There was an electrical cord hanging under the tree branch connected to the home. Having the electric cord outside under a tree branch which feeds into the cabin doesn't appear to be safe. If water contacts the outside electrical outlet that's under the tree branch this could lead to serious risks to those staying in the cabin. My husband is an electrical engineer so he is very familiar with how electricity at homes work. Right before we checked out the electricity in the home went out. The staff was very responsive and immediately came to assist and took it seriously, however we viewed the electricity set up as very dangerous. We stayed for two nights. We loved the plants, flowers, garden, asthetic, decorations, and the unique layout. We recommend having a car if you stay here. It is far away from the tourist area and is off the grid, but we purposely wanted this experience because we believe it's good to see the local area when traveling. We also recommend bringing bug spray because you are outside in the elements when staying at this home. There is a shared kitchen with a stove, dishes, pots and pans, and a shared sit-down area to relax or eat. There is a shared pool to take a dip in. There's chairs to sit in in the shared garden area. There's a key to lock the tiny home and also a gate to lock for privacy and security. There's a private area outside the tiny home to relax in chairs and on the hammock. There's a private bathroom outside the tiny home to use. You have to walk outside the blue home to use the bathroom which has a shower, sink, and toilet along with towels. There's a private small refrigerator outside the tiny home to use if needed. They have an office area to go to on site if you have any questions and the staff was very nice and good with communication. They sell breakfast for about $10/person if interested. The property is gated and you use a remote to open the large gate to enter and exit.
Our B&B is close to the Donkey Farm and the National park
We are 10 min walking away from the bus stop, we can also help you with a rental car and he will pick you up with your car from the airport. The rental is $300 for a week or $50 a day.

Hi my name is Willeke, and i'm originally from Holland. And i gave my heart to Aruba for over 16 years now. Started my own restaurant and never left, this is what happens when you get to know Aruba... After I sold my restaurant, tourist rentals became my business. And that's when I started Mammaloe's. I created a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere that will bring you in to an other world. I've also added Villa Thalis to the port folio. I am here to help you get the best time ever, on our beautiful island!
